Bug Description
Currently, Rosetta offers all strings for translation. One should be able to mark relevant strings with a flag "translation is not necessary", "use original string" or something similar. Especially, it will be useful for items contaning code snippets, examples of command lines and alike. Further on, these lines may be dropped out of statistics, may be not displayed by request etc.

This sounds like fixing upstream software, IMHO.
If you believe string should not be translated, please inform the upstream developer of that, so they can unmark it. With that, you'll get all those benefits you mention: you won't see them among translations, they'll be dropped out of statistics, etc.
