Bug Description

Simple to reproduce. Boot in a non-english language (french for example), and launch installer. When you want to select the keyboard, it is skipped to next step, the user account creation one.

Very annoying.

Tried with last alpha image, found here http://cdimages.ubuntu.com/daily-live/20060908.2/

We just totally replaced the keyboard selection step, so this is sort of expected. :-) I'll look at it.

Great, if it works fully.

 It is strange to have a french speaking GUI and a QWERTY (tipycal english speaking keyboard) for account creation part :(

  * syslog.LOG_WARN -> syslog.LOG_WARNING (closes: Malone #59257).
  * Point console-setup.postinst at /var/lib/dpkg/info/console-setup.config
    directly, rather than trying to make a symlink to it and apparently
    failing (closes: Malone #59496).
