Bug Description

Binary package hint: gobject-introspection

This is a FTBFS fix for gobject-introspection. On ARM, some additional types are defined such as ushort/ulong/uint when building gobjection-introspection (cause unknown, still investigating). This fix works around this problem by renaming the variables and updating the test suite to match so there is no possible conflict; I ask that this patch be uploaded due to the criticality of gobjection-introspection in building images due to the dependency tree.

david: please open an upstream task in the gnome bugtracker and make sure that upstream agrees with the fix, we are uploading the fix as a temporary workaround and want to have approval from upstream.

gobject-introspection (0.6.14-1ubuntu2) maverick; urgency=high

  * Added debian/patches/01_fix_arm_ftbfs.patch (LP: #597947)
    - Correct FTBFS on ARM due to additional variable types being defined causing
      the tst suite to fail to build properly. This patch renames the affected
      variables, and updates the known-good test template.
