Bug Description

Sorry about my bad english.

When I'm installing Ubuntu/Kubuntu 6.06 from CD:s I orderd from you installer crushes. In ubuntu it completes 95% and in Kubuntu it completes 94%. Installer reports after I press X to close the installer window. "installer crashed etc..." It includes link to this site. Language what I'm trying to install is Finnish, with Finnish keymap. I haven't got US/EN or any other layout keyboard, only Finnish. When ubuntu had completer 95% I left it to instal for over 2 hours, so it had time. My computer includes 900mhz celeron coppermine, it is a bit overclocked, but only to ~1050mhz. Cooling is enough good, it ain't because of that. It has an integrated graphics card, it is old, made by intel, it shares 4 mb's of memory. Computer has 384mb memory in two sticks, 128+256. I am trying to install it to my ~6.5Gb harddrive, 6.5gb harddrive is slave (hdb) and 20gb seagate is master (hda). I installed windows xp to master, it has 5gb partition. I've got Nokia Monitor, 17'' CRT. Motherboard has 3 pci slots slot, in first one is an old Creative soundblaster, and in the second is netwodk card (I ain't sure about cards name). There is 2 cd drives, one 48x(I ain't sure about maker), and one Cd-Rw2x (HP). Power supply is only 150w. Error message what it showed was that on Kubuntu:

Hi,

Just following up on this bug. Will you be able to provide these log files? (you will have to repeat the install attempt with the same Live CD to get them) Without the logs we will not be able to follow up this issue further. Thanks.

I'm afraid that there is nothing I can do about this without the requested log files. If you (the original reporter) can reproduce this bug with a current release and can get me the log files, feel free to reopen this bug. (Anyone else reading this who believes they have a similar problem should open a new bug instead.)
