Bug Description

Binary package hint: konqueror

After visiting a few web sites (http://gemal.dk/browserspy/basic.html among others) I see that Konqueror was displaying as Dapper. I was able to semi reproduce it with another user:

UserAgent Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/3.5; Linux) KHTML/3.5.4 (like Gecko) (Kubuntu)

while my own read as

Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/3.5; Linux) KHTML/3.5.4 (like Gecko) Kubuntu 6.06 Dapper (Debian)

Not a big issue but it can be fixed.

Sorry Freddy, I can't reproduce this. Did you perform a dist-upgrade from Dapper?

nixternal@MasTequila:~$ cat /etc/lsb-release

DISTRIB_CODENAME=edgy
DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu edgy (development branch)"

Do you get the same output?

Yes from dapper to knot 1 to knot 2 to 3. maybe that might be part of the
update. I reproduced it with a guy who updated the same way. Also, notice
the User Agent just says Konqueror, it should have a distro # (6.06 or
6.10or whatever the case may be) and a name (breezy, dapper, edgy) so
this may
be the case. I'll ask around #ubuntu+1 for more information. thanks for
trying.
