Bug Description
I have gmail-notify not storing my username and password, so every time I log into gnome, it opens up the preferences window. Sometimes, I'm in a hurry or don't have Internet and just want it to go away, but there's a while loop in the code that just won't let that happen. I'm attaching a patch to make it behave more sensibly. It'll open up the preferences window once. If the preferences window is then closed, and there's still not a username and password, it simply exits the program.

Here's the patch I was referring to. It should probably be sent upstream too.
