Thanks for your bug report and helping to make ubuntu better. At the least we need steps to reproduce the bug as well as version numbers of effected packages. For the latter please type 'apport-collect 631423' in your terminal.

Hi,

I found this bug performing a Desktop Iso Testing. This is the testcase used:

The bug happens every channel you join. I tested with few Ubuntu channel, not the only one described in the testcase.

The issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers of the software by following the instructions at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME.

thanks for the bug report. I just joined an irc channel in fully updated Maverick and the I can see the user list. is this still an issue for anyone?
