Bug Description
Binary package hint: usplash
I did a dist-upgrade from Dapper to Edgy-beta. In general it went smoothly. However, upon rebooting, I have the test pattern usplash instead of the Ubuntu artwork.
I suspect this is a video driver thing and may be related to bug 63153.

This should be fixed now cf bug 61313
