Bug Description

Installing oregano make the 'Other' category to appear into the menu. I think it should have been put in Education. Easychem and celestia are there.

Thank you.

It appears in the "Other" category while oregano.desktop has:
Categories=Application;Scientific;
I don't know why it doesn't create a "Scientific" category, are there "authorized" categories and the others go in "Other" ?
Anyway it needs a fix. Confirmed.

The problem is that Gnome does not support a Science menu so if it doesn't have "Education" or one of the other Main Categories from http://standards.freedesktop.org/menu-spec/latest/apa.html in Categories= it will apear in "Other". "Science" is a freedesktop.org category (not "Scientific" though so that is a problem). This is a common problem with science apps that really needs to be handled by the software authors.
