Bug Description

Binary package hint: xfe

Ubuntu default link option "-Bsymbolic-functions" breaks Xfe. This is because a number of FOX (the widget toolkit library) functions are redefined in Xfe for hacking and theming purpose. As a consequence, a number of Xfe features do not work at all. For example, some options are not retained and the control theme cannot be changed.
The solution to this problem is simply to build the Xfe package without the -Bsymbolic-functions link option.
This problem has been seen in Ubuntu Lucid Lynx with Xfe 1.32.1.
Hope you could fix the bug very soon!
Best regards,
RB

The bug is present in Ubuntu 12.10. It seems that the fix in libfox 1.6.37-1ubuntu2 was removed.
Please reintroduce it in libfox-1.6.45.
Thanks,
RB
