Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntu-desktop

This is a problem in edgy ubuntu-desktop and all edgy variants (kubuntu-desktop, edubuntu-desktop, etc). These packages still depend on xkeyboard-config.

But, xkeyboard-config has no real files and only depends on one package (xkb-data).

All of these desktop packages need to be changed to depend on xkb-data.

I no longer use edgy. I see that this has been fixed in feisty for ubuntu-desktop, kubuntu-desktop, edubuntu-desktop, xubuntu-desktop.

Indeed, this was fixed in ubuntu-meta 1.34, but I forgot to close the bug.
