I've just had what looks like a similar problem. I'm using Edgy, in English.

I had been browsing for a while, had restarted Firefox, which is set to show windows and tabs from last time. I then went to bookmark one of the tabs, at which point the crash occurred. I have attached the crash report.

I will try the above again to see if I can reproduce.

The close, re-open, bookmark sequence of actions did not reproduce the error.

Same kind of problem but unable to reproduce.
I clicked on the menu bookmark -> bookmark this page. A grey window appeared and after a few seconds Firefox crash.

I launched firefox from a terminal (I also have video problems - bug 69522) and have this message:
(Gecko:8886): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_colormap_get_screen: assertion `GDK_IS_COLORMAP (cmap)' failed

(Gecko:8886): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_ref: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed

(Gecko:8886): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_colormap_get_visual: assertion `GDK_IS_COLORMAP (colormap)' failed

I've now seen the exact same behavior on English Ubuntu Edgy Eft.

I had both multiple windows and miltiple tabes open on each and was attempting to bookmark one of the tabs.

Similarly, I cannot reproduce -- it may be significant that it crashed on my first attempt to add a bookmark after upgrading from dapper.

Subsequent bookmarking works fine.

Just had something similar. Was trying to bookmark a site and Firefox crashed on me. I just chose "restore session" and Firefox is now running very slow, isn't affecting the rest of the (Edgy) system. Crash report attached, I'll post again if I can reproduce. Let me know if I can help any more.

I also had a similar situation. I was trying to bookmark a site using CTRL+D. Firefox crashed instantly. Only one window and two tabs were open. Didn't notice any effect on rest of the system (edgy).

Amarok 1.4.3 and Gaim2.0.0beta3.1 were running on background.

Is this still an issue for anyone? We are trying to trying sort out the older Mozilla issues and would like to know if this still happens.

Tumas can you reproduce this using the menu in firefox not the keybindings?
