Bug Description
Two things that bugged me when doing the Edgy Eft install. One is that when trying to create a new partition from my existing Dapper partition, the installer insisted on calling the to-be-created partition Partition #1 even though there was already a partition 1 (and 2 and 3 and 5) on the disk. I was nervous that it was going to overwrite my real hda1. This #x should be the number of the hdaX that is going to be added to the partition table.
The second thing is that before committing to the install, I went back to the partition page, and a gparted window popped up, then disappeared. Weird, but cosmetic. Not great to have cosmetic problems in the tool thats touching partitions.

Sorry, but what does the above have to do with upgrade-system?
Upgrade-system is an APT front-end; it is not the Ubuntu installer or one of its components.
