some kcmshell modules started crashing after update to KDE 3.5.5

Bug Description

After I updated to KDE 3.5.5 some kcmshell modules like 'system settings', 'users&groups', 'system services', 'disks&filesystems' and 'display', start crashing with the crash handler signal 11 (SIGSEGV).

I've submitted this report to bugs.kde.org. Pls, see their reply:

As I discovered, there were similar, but not the same bug reports and none of them was related to the update.
If it is known in Kubuntu launchpad, what is the current state of the problem?

I've updated to 6.10 pretty long time ago. Since that I don't have that problem.
