EdgyEft 6.10 RC1 partitioner lockup during install from LiveCD

Bug Description

Trying to install edgyeft 6.10 RC1 AMD64.

After booting up from LiveCD I am able to browse around OS, but when I try to run the installer and once the "Starting up the partitioner" prompt comes up, the partitioner freezes at 78% while "Detecting file systems...".

This is reproduceable every time I restart the computer, boot from LiveCD, and proceed to install EdgyEft.

I have Dapper Drake running well on the same machine on second harddrive.

elaborate how I can get the aforementioned info and post to the bug?

Proceed as usual by booting with the (latest) liveCD and produce steps until the freeze occurs. after the program freezes, close the program (I guess?? maybe not?), browse this web page, click on "add a comment/attachment", you will see a box besides "Include attachment", check that box, click browse and find the requested file, write a description (name of file for example) in the box that says "Description", and click on "save changes".

You will have to do this once for each file that was requested.

Note that /var/log/installer/syslog does not exist in Edgy. I only need /var/log/syslog and /var/log/partman.

Hi, Just following up on this bug. Will you be able to provide these log files? (you will have to repeat the install attempt with the same Live CD to get them) Without the logs we will not be able to follow up this issue further.
