Bug Description
I'm reporting an installion failure with the CD "Xubuntu 6.10 beta alternate PPC". It fails on a dual PowerMac gigabit ethernet.
It fails on the stage "Installing the base system" with:
Debootstrap warning
Warning: failure trying to run: chroot /target mount -t proc /proc proc

I have checked the install media: mounted/ iso /path/to/ mounted/ cd. No differences were found
1. checked the md5 sum of the iso. it was ok
2. mounted the iso and mounted the burned cd and did a diff: diff -r-q /path/to/
