Bug Description

Hey,

I just installed Ubuntu Edgy RC. The installation was stuck for roughly 30 minutes in phase called "searching for mirrors" or something like that, because the installer couldn't find any mirrors due to the fact that I had no connection to the internet since I didn't dial into the vpn.
So I suggest, that you reduce the timout time for finding an internet connection.

Thanks for your report. This is bug 14599, and I've already fixed it for Edgy final.
