Correct product not selectable in add upstream task/bug

Bug Description

Going to a URL such as:

  https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-i810/+bug/71364/+upstreamtask

and attempting to add an upstream bug on 'xserver-xorg-video-i810' does not work as expected. Instead I'm asked to select from a seemingly unguessable list of alternatives. For example putting in 'xserver-xorg' then will give me a choice between VESA and FireGLX drivers:

  http://www.paul.sladen.org/ubuntu/bugs/malone-upstream-bzzzzt.png

Ideally Malone should let me put in the name of any package already in launchpad; and which 99.99999% of the time will be the same package in Ubuntu and in upstream.

The problem here is that the given product has not been registered in Launchpad. At a minimum, there should be a better error message for this.

A better error message is bug 1922.
According to bug 39001 if the packaging information is there, the product field would be populated already.

Paul, does that packaging information already exists in launchpad for the 'xserver-xorg-video-i810'?

The immediate problem was trying to enter a package name in a product name field. So while bug 1922 and bug 39001 will both help, I think this is more closely a duplicate of bug 1334.
