cannot change volume by scrolling on the icon when the SoundMenu is opened

Bug Description
when the SoundMenu is opened you cannot scroll over the sound icon to change volume, In Ubuntu-10.10 mutter-unity this was not and issue(although the problem was there in Classic Desktop Session).

I actually can't do much about this. The scroll-event sent by libindicator is not received while the menu is open.
Marking as invalid for this project as this bug is already on Unity's radar where it belongs.
