Bug Description

I don't know how to describe the bug! I wanted to open the file "/var/crash/_usr_bin_Xorg.0.crash" to look what is in it, when the window "Problem report for xserver-xorg-core" opened and I was asked to send a complete report.

Heh, that did not sound right. This is what I wanted to ask:

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

Just use sudo? I don't think it's appropriate for root processes to produce a crash file that is directly readable by the user(s).

After upgrading to Gutsy (Ubuntu 7.10-amd64) I never had a problem with
xserver again. There was no need to read "/var/crash/_usr_bin_Xorg.0.crash" so far.
I don't know if this issue is of any importance....

The crash file in this case should belong to root, since the process is run as root. If you want to look at it just use sudo.
