Bug Description

I use Edgy with kernel 2.6.17-10.33 generic on my home PC. System often hangs up without any particular reason, with the log message like this:

desktop kernel: [17181355.740000] APIC error on CPU0: 04(04).

And this message is repeated over and over (last record: 652 times). My system is working on Celeron 1Ghz, 256 Mb RAM and has a LAN connection. I don't think that this bug is connected to any particular application, because I've experienced it even before login once. So I think It's a kernel problem. Maybe It's somehow connected to the bug with madwifi that was discussed here? I have restricted-modules installed too, but I don't use any wireless connections.
