I prepared an updated package for gfcui that fixes the ftbfs. But I can't upload until https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gfccore/2.3.1-7ubuntu1 is published (gfccore's dependency_libs referenced some non-existing files)

This bug was fixed in the package gfcui - 2.3.1-8ubuntu2

---------------
gfcui (2.3.1-8ubuntu2) natty; urgency=low

  * debian/patches/05_fix_pedantic.patch: (LP: #749177)
    build with -pedantic instead of pedantic-errors to fix FTBFS
  * debian/rules: clean dependency_libs from la-file per policy 10.2
