Bug Description
Every time I change my monitor over to a different one and start my computer I have to reconfigure xserver-xorg so I can see the screen. While this works for me it is annoying and is probably not the best solution for people who are less technical. This problem does not occur in Windows, which seems to automatically find a resolution with when a different/unknown monitor is being used.

xrandr now provides monitor hotplugging capabilities. Feel free to file more specific bugs about this after you've had a chance to try it out in Gutsy.
