Scrollback behavior needs better integration with existing terminals and user expectations

Committed revision 1349.

Which improves matters.

Should also open up a bug against screen to fix this incorrect error message:
process.c:2085: Msg(0, "Must be on a window layer");

I'll handle that.

Note that you can/should hit ESC to exit scrollback mode.

This bug was fixed in the package byobu - 4.0-0ubuntu1
