Bug Description

When I press any of these keys, they sometimes stick/cling. Shift stick/cling approximately at every second press, Alt stick/cling a couple of times a day. Sticking/clinging disappears when I press sticked/clinged key. I haven't this bug in terminal on Alt+Ctrl+F1. I use KDE 4.6.3, I see it in openbox too. I got this bug after upgrade from 10.10 to 11.04. At 8.10-10.10 (from intrepid to maverick) everything was normal.
 %uname -a

If sticked/clinged the left Shift button, then right Shift button cannot turn off sticking/clinging , and vice versa.
 My keyboard is clean.

OK. I've made a research. Keys don't stick with packages xserver-xorg-core_1.10.4-1~bpo60+1_amd64.deb and xserver-xorg-input-evdev_2.6.0-2~bpo60+1_amd64.deb from debian. But this packages break kdm and opengl at all. Could somebody do anything for those who have this awful bug? Do ubuntu maintainers think about users, or they should change OS?

Now it looks like this one: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/16218400/xorg.conf
I tried to change keyboard driver from kbd to evdev, but nothing had changed.

PS Also I investigated that bug dissapears when I replace file /usr/bin/Xorg with this one from Debian.

So, this bug is somehow connected with xserver-xorg-video-* packages,
or u just installed them to resolve dependencies from legacy xserver-xorg
package?

Sounds like it's related to the multitouch patches, moving to xorg-server.

Precise will soon have a new set of packages with backported patches from upstream, so if things still break with those we need to upstream the bug.

I have this bug too(but maybe I'm wrong, not sure if this is same bug) but with any button and only in one condition - when I play games like Kobo Delux or Battle for Wesnoth.
If button stick nothing helps. Clicking another button will release previous and stick current clicked button.
And the most funny thing is that this bug appear for me after I was playing Battle for Wesnoth in subterranean. I didn't have this before.
I turn off autoupdates long time ago. I wasn't upgrading system.
All games before Battle for Wesnoth was working without any issues. Sry for my bad English
