<F5> keybinding doesnt work

I think I've fixed this in the latest byobu release (4.22). Could you please upgrade and see if that works for you? You might have to restart byobu. Sorry!

I have byobu 4.22 installed. I created a new session and when I git <F5> I still end up seeing the same error.

Hmm, okay, something is funny in your configuration. Do you have anything in your ~/.screenrc or ~/.byoburc?

Also, could you either:
 1) tar up your ~/.byobu directory and attach it here
 2) or blow it away, and let byobu recreate it anew? rm -rf ~/.byobu/*

I have attached the .byobu directory. Deleteing .byobu doesnt solve the problem for me.

I am not sure if this is related to this bug, when I try to set the background and foreground color I get an error, but I am unable to get the complete error as it is not displayed. The part of the error which is displayed is as follows:

"Error: /home/bharath/.byobu/profile file exists, but is n"

I've got the same issue à krosswindz, with byobu 4.32 (although I remember seeing it with 4.31 as well)

When trying to selection a background or foreground color (be it with screen or tmux as a backend), I've got this:

"Error: /home/zorun/.config/byobu/profile file exists, but "

Is there a temporary fix?

I'm going between different setups often, with different monitors and need to reset my window size. Used to be F5 would take care of this. Is there another option?

Anyone experiencing this... Could you try the following, and let me know the results:

 1) mv ~/.byobu/profile ~/.byobu/profile.old
 2) start byobu again
 3) now see if F5 works

If this works, please tell me the difference between your new and old profile.

Also, can anyone experiencing this problem try upgrading to the latest Byobu in the PPA and let me know if the problem still exists?

 - sudo apt-add-repository ppa:byobu/ppa
 - sudo apt-get update
 - sudo apt-get install byobu

I can reproduce this issue by the steps below.

1. launch byobu with screen
    $ byobu-screen
2. chage escape sequence from <F9> (Byobu configuration menu)
3. press <F5>

I attached diff of configs from initial state.

I forgot to memtion that byobu version is 5.17-0ubuntu1 on precise.

I can reproduce this issue too. I'm using byobu 5.34-1 (debian unstable).
I have change escape sequence too.
