Bug Description

A change in van.pydeb version 1.3.3-0ubuntu1 contains a change that broke the build of older packages that include rules_templates/rules.1.mk:

  * rules_templates/rules.1.mk:
    - do not rename egg-info and nspkg.pth files to remove version, dh_pydeb
      doesn't do that.

FTBFS bugs for affected packages in Ubuntu: LP: #835764, LP: #835767, LP: #835748

This change has to be reverted.

This bug was fixed in the package van.pydeb - 1.3.3-0ubuntu2

---------------
van.pydeb (1.3.3-0ubuntu2) oneiric; urgency=low

  * rules_templates/rules.1.mk: revert the change in last upload that stopped
    renaming files. Packages that used this expected the files to be named
    without version (LP: #836620).
