Edgy installer doesn't create a proper grub config file

Bug Description

I installed Edgy Eft on a SATA drive, which is the only drive on the system. I manually partitioned the disk. When /boot/grub/menu.lst was created, the root option to the kernel was given as '/dev/hda1' which is incorrect, the correct is '/dev/sda1' (since there are no IDE disks).

Could you please attach /var/log/syslog and /var/log/partman to this bug, following the directions in http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingUbiquity/AttachingLogs? Thanks in advance. I have systems without /dev/hd* here, but can't reproduce this problem on them; with any luck your logs will offer more clues.
