Bug Description

Upstream Remmina provides two translation templates:
https://translations.launchpad.net/remmina/trunk

but the package in Ubuntu Precise does not generate any of these: https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/precise/+source/remmina

Furthermore, the fix for bug #931336 makes it impossible to localize the desktop file, so that patch needs to be changed. Instead of dropping the desktop.in file, the desktop file should be generated from it using intltool-merge.

note that the patch is a bit hackish and probably not suitable for upstream but that will do for precise

Thank you for the patch, but there should be two templates generated, one for the main app in remmina/po and one for the plugins in remmina-plugins/po.

False alarm, remmina does not use two translation domains, only one.

Hello, I uploaded some seconds ago the new remmina for ubuntu bionic.
Can you please confirm the patch rebasing was correct? thanks!

Any news? The translation template is still outdated (not synced with upstream) in bionic, resulting in non-English Remmina translations being incomplete although they are fully translated in upstream and showing as fully translated on Launchpad as well (because of the outdated template).
