Bug Description

I've been trying for a while in both 11.10 and 12.04 to configure compiz as my default window manager within Lubuntu.

It seems that in both distributions lxsession-edit modifies a file at...
.config/lxsession/LXDE/desktop.conf
...by default which is ignored entirely by Lubuntu's LXDE.

Instead I believe it should be editing a file at /etc/xdg/lxsession/Lubuntu/desktop.conf which has a setting...

[Session]
window_manager=openbox-lubuntu

...which is actually read by LXDE.

This bug was fixed in the package lxsession-edit - 0.2.0-1ubuntu2

---------------
lxsession-edit (0.2.0-1ubuntu2) precise; urgency=low

  * debian/patches:
   - 01_fix_session_name.patch: Use DESKTOP_SESSION to get session name,
      and use openbox-lubuntu by default for the window-manager on Lubuntu
      session (LP: #951245).
