Bug Description

Normally the Launcher behaves as expected, but after one or more applications have been started and their windows minimized, it becomes laggy and sometimes totally unresponsive. Symptoms include:

* Launcher tooltips are heavily delayed; after one appears, others don't unless the mouse leaves the Launcher for a while then hovers over another icon
* Restoring the last minimized window doesn't work
* The menu from the last minimized window is still in the panel

Newly installed Precise 64-bit with NVIDIA binary drivers and dual-monitor TwinView setup.

I experience this same problem.

It appears to occur when the last open window is minimized. The CPU will experience heavy load (see attached top) and in my experience the processes do not stop until the user attempts to interact with the Launcher.

Same symptoms as indicated above.

Also Precise 64-bit with NVIDIA drivers (several versions) and TwinView setup. I did an upgrade from 11.04 -> 11.10 -> 12.04.

I am experiencing this problem as well. However, I have Intel Sandybridge integrated graphics on a single monitor setup. Fresh install of 12.04 64-bit.
