PPA description

This PPA contains the latest 'Mainline' Release version of the nginx web server software, up through 1.15.x, for Artful, Bionic, Cosmic, and Xenial.

For Mainline 1.17.x, once released, you will need to use the newer PPA
 at https://launchpad.net/~nginx/+archive/ubuntu/mainline.

Adding this PPA to your system

You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:nginx/development to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing) 

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nginx/development
sudo apt update
