Release notes 

BigDFT 1.8.0 is out.
This version represent the first release of BigDFT which splits the code into different independent modules.
The compilation and linking of such modules is guaranteed by a suitable modification of the jhbuild script collection, that is driven by an installer which wraps the most common operations.
This should be the first version of a rolling-release distribution of the code.

An enormous amount of modifications with respect to the 1.7.7 version is available. Not only the build system is completely different, but also the internal structure of the code has been modified to include a number of functionalities
