Blender is currently the most powerful FOSS video editor out there. We want to help expose that.

We have a script that looks for or creates (if not there) a custom .blend file that launches with Blender. The UI is customized to be similar to current video editor apps.

We also create a .desktop entry that shows "Blender-Video-Editor" in the "Graphics" menu

We're always looking for a better way to expose this great feature to users. All suggestions are welcome.
