This seems like the type of thing which will rapidly get out of date, unless we're planning on SRUing this frequently or just adding a menu link to the website, I don't think this is worth packaging.

Err...I mean packaging in the archive, a PPA would be better suited

I think we should SRU it. Having it available offline will be very nice to have.

Just want to chip in my information, but yes - an offline copy (packaged into a .deb) would be nice to have (especially with the frequency with which I visit the online one)!

None of the current packaging guide bugs seem to be show-stoppers for getting it into quantal. We have a workaround for bug 961936, and we still have time to enable translations fully.

Andrew: any show-stoppers you see?

Nope, I just wanted to give folks a bit of time to comment.

I feel it's ready to upload, it's just a matter of what we want to declare version 0.1

If you build the source package from the current branch - do you feel that it'd be suitable for upload into quantal as-is? I believe it is.

I do. Unless someone speaks up, I'll tag the release and upload to
quantal by the end of the day.

Thanks!

Alright, I'll add a dummy watch file or a README.source, but this
seems like strange grounds for rejection of a native package.

Good catch. This should already be fixed in trunk. Are you just
pointing this out, or is this considered grounds for rejection from
the NEW queue on its own? It seems like this is quoted from the output
of some kind of qa script? Is this something that could be added to
lintian, especially if it is grounds for rejection?

Thanks!

Shall we upload a new version? I think I updated debian/changelog accordingly, so is anything else still blocking?

No, it was only once rejected, due to some licensing issues, which I fixed, now it's accepted and we're fine.
