Description:
1. Boot ISO in VirtualBox
2. Perform installation using "Install Ubuntu" option (aka only-ubiquity)

It just stop there with no response(refer to picture1), but after you power off and restart the system manually, you can login and find everything is OK.

Still to test: KVM, Install Ubuntu (ubiquity only mode)

There have similar reports about Virtualbox, can you please provide version information about your virtualbox software?

I noticed that the reboot works fine in virtualbox if I choose 'try ubuntu' (aka, I load the full desktop). If I select 'install ubuntu' and only load the installer, it fails to reboot on it's own.

Oops, sorry.
This still reproducible if the installation is lauched from Ubiquity-dm.
If it is launched from Live session works.

Forget it. A simple press on enter causes the vm to reboot. I remove the trusty tag. Sorry for the noise.
