Cannot remove or rearrange folders

Bug Description

When I pin an app to my dock, I can easily remove it by dragging it out of the dock, but this not happens when I try to drag a folder out of my dock, even if the folder is on my trash!

Well, we probably need to launch the menu on release for starters :P

Then I imagine we just do it like normal?

The point is, you can drag other things off the dock. You can't drag folders off.

Adding a 'remove' or whatever to the folder's popup would obviously help, but doesn't sufficiently solve the issue.

(partially) Fixed in rev 651. This adds the ability to remove it via the menu, but still need to figure out what to do about dragging them off.

What is the current status on this issue?

Can someone explain me the difficulty why it is possible to drag and rearrange icons but not folders?
