Bug Description

Binary package hint: minicom

Often when I run minicom, no statusbar / pseudo-windows etc are displayed. ctrl-a q <enter> doesn't seem to quit it. I'm at a loss as to what it could be.

I started gnome-terminal from within console and then ran minicom. It did talk minicom an awful long time to load and then I saw this information in my konsole session:
"(gnome-terminal:7846): Vte-WARNING **: Can not find appropiate font for character U+001d.
(gnome-terminal:7846): Vte-WARNING **: Can not find appropiate font for character U+001e."

It's stopped *not* working here! Perhaps gnome-terminal has been fixed recently?
