FTBFS: Tests fail on non-x86

Bug Description

During the build of tests, they fail as such on non-x86:

gcc -g -O2 -fstack-protector --param=ssp-buffer-size=4 -Wformat -Werror=format-security -nostdlib -T ./test.lds -m64 -o test.elf test.o
/usr/bin/ld: cannot represent machine `i386:x86-64'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

I suspect that this package should just be i386/amd64, but if there's an easy way to handle the building of the tests on non-x86, then that works too.
