Quantal Desktop amd64 20120904.1 image

1. Start a vm on a live session
2. Continue to do the installation
3. The crash occurs nearly at the end of the installation

Can you please provide steps to reproduce the bug? In my local testing, I cannot trigger this, therefore it's hard to debug & fix the problem that may have caused this.

Bug 1013367 seems similar and has a test case of sorts in the bug description. Another similar bug is bug 1026401.
