Bug Description

I install xubuntu feisty beta. I have several systems installed, Win XP on one disk; Fedora 3 on a primary partition on a second disk and Elive 0.5.3, Elive 0.6.4 and Xubuntu 6.10 on extended partitions on the second disk. I'm only given the option to migrate settings from WinXP and Fedora, non of the others.

Can you try one of the daily live CD images, to see if this is still a problem in the current build? The xubuntu images can be found here:
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/xubuntu/daily-live/current/

Instead of clicking on the Install icon, please run the installer using the --debug option (`ubiquity --debug` in a console) and attach /var/log/installer/debug and /var/log/syslog to this bug report.

Thanks!

Sorry to take so long; have been away all day.
I've used the daily of April 10 2007 and I still only had options to migrate settings from the winXP and the Fedora 3 system.
I've attached the files you asked for after running the install from the console: 'ubiquity --debug'

It mostly works for me importing from Feisty to Gutsy during install. Feisty is on /dev/sda5 and Gutsy is on /dev/sda8

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the latest release - Intrepid Ibex 8.10. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. Thanks again and we appreciate your help.
