This does not show mountall trying to mount the lv's before starting lvm. It shows that mountall was waiting for the devices to be available, and you canceled this, telling mountall not to wait. So no bug here.

Changed in mountall (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid

I was rather puzzled that dpkg was reporting /etc/init.d/lvm2 for the reporter. And guess what?
$ apt-cache policy lvm2
lvm2:
  Installed: 2.02.95-4
  Candidate: 2.02.95-4
  Version table:
 *** 2.02.95-4 0
        500 http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ testing/main amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     2.02.66-4ubuntu7.1 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise-updates/main amd64 Packages
     2.02.66-4ubuntu7 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise/main amd64 Packages

The reporter is now on the hunt to find who added those repositories =)
