Plymouth theme does not show password prompt

Bug Description

The new Ubuntu-GNOME Plymouth theme does not show a prompt when a password is requested.
This happens if you use /etc/crypttab to decrypt your partitions.

Typing in the password works, though, there is just no visual feedback at all.
