There is a new bugfix version:

New Features and Fixes

- File Browser side panel improvements (Ignacio Casal Quinteiro)
- Fix print preview in landscape mode (Adrian Johnson)
- Misc bugfixes

Impact:
The new version fixes some bugs and has updated translations. GNOME has a MRE so the update should qualify for SRU

Test Case:
Check that gedit keeps working, testing the print preview in lanscape mode should be easy to verify that fix

Regression Potential:
Limited, watch for the print previews

Hello Sebastien, or anyone else affected,

Accepted gedit into quantal-proposed. The package will build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gedit/3.6.1-0ubuntu1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users.

I've been using the new gedit for the past week without problems. Print preview and file browser sidebar seem ok.

The verification of this Stable Release Update has completed successfully and the package has now been released to -updates. Subsequently, the Ubuntu Stable Release Updates Team is being unsubscribed and will not receive messages about this bug report.
