Andrew,

I'm not manually selecting to report these bugs. I signed up to report i
believe it was three or four bugs and now it seems like when something does
crash it reports on its own. Is that possible? If it is would you like me
to change a setting so you don't keep getting duplicate reports or should I
let it go as is?

As far as I know, apport will not send crash info on its own, but then again I haven't interacted with it much. You will be receiving a lot of duplicate notifications as dupes of bug 87462 are found. If you don't want to be notified that other users have had the same problem as you, please unsubscribe from bug 87462 at http://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/87462
