Bug Description

Binary package hint: apt

When I run apt-get update, apt runs through the list returning "Fetched 3B in 1s (3B/s)". When I try to upgrade afterwards, there's no new packages.

This has been going on for quite a while (3 weeks), so the problem isn't that there just isn't any new packages.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Unfortunately we can't fix it, because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" <http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html>. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.

We have instructions on debugging some types of problems. <http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures>

At a minimum, we need:
1. the Ubuntu version you are running
2. the full output of 'sudo apt-get update'
3. the contents of /etc/apt/sources.list

Please attach, rather than copy&paste, the above here.

Thanks!
