Bug Description
Binary package hint: ion3
The author, Tuomo Valkonen, recently introduced a restrictive trademark licence covering the names "Ion" and "Ion3":
http://
Following some discussions with the author, I am attempting to comply with this licence in the Debian package by checking the upstream version on first installation and requiring acknowledgement from the user if that is newer. Users are directed to report bugs through the Debian bug tracking system and not to the author (though they should do so anyway!). The new package will be in the non-free section.
You should check the licence and possibly contact the author if clarification is necessary. If you continue to use the Debian package as a basis, you will obviously need to change the notices to refer to Launchpad and not the Debian bug tracking system.

I'll handle the Ubuntification once the new version is in Debian. Thanks for notifying us!
If you're changing the name, does it really need to be in non-free?
