Bug Description

E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

can anyone help me with this, I'm so new to ubuntu and i love it. i have updates to download but they will not let me , i keep getting this message. Thank you.

Thanks to all that help me. I ran it in the terminal and it fixed it. ran sudo dpkg --configure -a.
