Bug Description

Binary package hint: firestarter

Initial configuration of new Install.
I was editing an existing Policy to change access when it crashed.
Possibly this occurred as the other machine on network was still trying to access this machine with
Firestarter running on it.

Window for changing the policy opened up but never fully displayed before it crashed.
Machine attempting to access port policy is an XP Pro box.

A simple workaround is to set the env variable G_SLICE to always-malloc before starting firestarter. From command line type

G_SLICE=always-malloc gksudo /usr/sbin/firestarter &

Thank you very much, Matti: as soon as I can see, I had no more
crashes in Firestarter. I am now using Hardy, and noticed no problems.
Those bugs happened when I was using Gutsy beta, several months ago
:-)

Thanks again,
