Ubuntu GNOME Raring images don't offer a clear entire disc install

Bug Description

A screenshot will serve more good than a thousand words here. I'll follow up shortly.

Basically there is no option to use entire disc if something already exists on the disc.

I'd almost bet this is loosely related to bug #1164592.

And I ran across another oddity while using manual partitioning; for what seems to be no reason, the LVM/encrytion text opened up w/o that being my intention.

Somehow our implementation of ubiquity is not quite right.

I can see the "Erase Ubuntu 13.04 and reinstall" is the wipe & install option. We change messaging based on the detected filesystems. Note the heading for the page: "This computer has BLA. What would you like to do?"
